OK everyone! Its time to get the KRW Knitwear Studio Facebook page up to 550Followers!

I’m giving away 9 hanks of Gorgeous Recycled Sari Silk once my Facebook page reaches 550 followers. I’m not sure of the yardage, but I am sure its at least 50 yards in each hank. I purchased from The Yarn Place 5-6 years ago and they have been in my stash ever since.

This is how it works.

Go to the KRWKnitwear Studio Facebook Page and follow the directions on the landing page!

Tell all your friends about this giveaway! They will have to like the page before they can leave a comment and get to the form.

As soon as we reach 550, I will use the Random Number generator to pick a number between 1 and 500. In the event of a tie, put all of those names in a bowl and draw one name.

If no one picked the number, I will find the winner with the number closest without going over!

Good Luck and Get the word out!

I cant believe we are FINALLY here! Month one of the KRW Knitwear Studio Crochet A Long. Today is the very first stitch!

The first thing you will need to do is download the Tunisian CAL 2012 – Informational Handout. It includes everything from what the final project looks like, to all of the details you need, including terminology

For each pattern, I will be giving you the multiples needed for each stitch (many will say “any number”) and then right after that, I will give you the number needed to create the correct sized square.

Worth Noting: Every Tunisian Stitch Row has 2 Parts:

Part 1 is what you need to do to put all the loops on the hook

Part 2 is what you do to remove the loops from the hook.

The row is not complete until you have completed both parts of the row. The video that follows the written pattern will help you understand how this all comes together.

So with out further ado, here is the pattern for January!

This simple beginners stitch works well to make a background fabric for cross stitch.
